The Altus Send add-on automates the process for communicating
reports and documents via e-mail (as PDF attachments). For generic
transmission of any report, a new menu group has been added to the
MenuSuite:

The user is able to use the tool to send ANY report in the database.
Clicking the "E-mail a Report" function in the Altus Send menusuite
opens up a list of all reports that can be filtered or searched to
find the desired one:

The user clicks OK to run the report, which opens the usual request form
to set filters and options. Upon clicking Print, the report is automatically
directed to the PDF printer with a proper name (matching the report name). A
new email message then opens up with the file attached. Note that users can
define standard body text to be used for all reports, or customized text when
specific reports are sent.

To facilitate workflow and external communication, additional
transmission options are integrated directly into document forms.
For example, the Purchase Order can easily be sent to the
respective supplier:

When e-mailed, a new message window is opened with the supplier's
e-mail address automatically populated. The user just needs to click
Send:
