The Altus Send add-on automates the process for communicating
reports and documents via fax. For generic
transmission of any report, a new "Fax" button is added to all
Report Lists:
Clicking the Fax button enables the user to enter criteria for
the report as usual. Then, when the Print button is clicked, a
window is opened for the user to specify recipient information
and a cover page message.
Note that users can define standard cover page text to be
used for all reports, or customized text when specific reports are
sent.
To facilitate workflow and external communication, additional
transmission options are integrated directly into document forms.
For example, the Purchase Order can easily be sent to the
respective supplier:
When faxed, a new message window is opened with the supplier's
fax number automatically populated. The user just needs to click
OK:
